More words of wisdom from my little 3 year old man...
On Bodily Functions and Forgiveness....
Nico:"Mommy you tooted."
Mommy: "I'm sorry Nic."
Nico: "That's okay Mommy, I forgive you. Now you have to forgive yourself."
On Career Choices....
After having a discussion about what mommy does at work and what "therapy" is...I asked Nico what he wanted to be when he grows up:
Nico: "I want to be a sword man on a horse. A knight."
Mommy: "I thought you wanted to be a teacher like daddy."
Nico: "I changed my mind."
On Shooter Men....
And more on the shooter men, the other day I'm driving the boys to Deborah's house and Nico is in the back seat reciting his own modified version of "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" only his version goes "Shooter man, shooter man what do you see? I see a guy shooting at me."
On Friends...
"Mommy my friends are Lucy and Noah. And all my family."
Boys. Despite all the talk of shooter men and farts, they can still make my heart melt!

From the mouths of babes
Some more classic Nico quotes as of late...
This morning before I left for work....
Nico: "Mommy your hair is beautiful like a mermaid."
During prayers in the evening...
Mommy: "God bless mommy, daddy, Nico, and Noah"
Nico: "and god bless the shooter man and the army men."
At the doctor's office during our recent emergency impacted poop visit.
Mommy: "How's your belly Nico does it still hurt? Or is mommy going to look like a fool."
Nico: "Mommy's going to look like a fool."
After throwing the couch cushions on the floor at the babysitter's house to practice his stage diving skills...
Deborah: "Who threw the cushions on the floor?"
Nico: "It's a mystery Deborah."
Nico's thoughts on marriage....
Nico: "I don't want Lucy to be my cousin. I want her to be my friend so I can marry her."
and my favorite of all said on several occasions to little Noah
Nico: "I love you baby brother."
